For over a century, the famous legend of the Bell Witch has been written. Tons of stories and movies have been based on the legend as well. While some reports state that the Bell family being haunted by a poltergeist or witch is a hoax, others say the story is true. It is said that the poltergeist still lingers in the nearby Bell Witch Cave, appearing only when she chooses, as an eerie little girl in a green dress. Rumors state that the witch left the cave after leaving the Bell family's home and resides there to this very day.
