Carnton Mansion
Franklin, TN 37064
This 1800's mansion was once used as a hospital site for Confederate soldiers and is now a plantation house and museum. It has been rumored that ghost soldiers still walk the grounds to this day. Their spirits have been seen, along with the ghostly woman in white who has been seen on the back porch of the mansion. Rumour has it that if you walk along the right-most row in the plantation cemetery, you will find the graves of two twin brothers. As you walk by the graves, it has been said you can feel them grabbing or tickling your ankles.

I was waiting on the tour to start so decided I would walk to the slave quarters to look it over when from behind me, I heard two little girls giggle so I stepped aside assuming there were two girls coming up behind me to let them pass but when I turned around there was no one there. Later at the top of the steps of the slave quarters, I turned to head down the steps when I felt a push and grabbed the railing to keep myself from falling.
