The Kingstone Lisle Inn is home to the "Snoring Ghost," who is said to be Thomas Hughes, the town's founder. Hughes originally built the inn for his mother, but he remains in spirit there. He has been known to pull blankets back on the bed and audibly snore. The inn can currently be accessed through tours.
