The Sam Davis House was built around 1810 and is now a museum. The home was restored in 1850 and Sam Davis himself lived there until 1860. He was later on hanged by the Union Army in 1863 for being a spy. Spirits of a young man, who those believe to be Davis' brother Oscar, have been seen, along with sounds of a woman crying where Davis' body was laid in state in the parlor. Reports of voices, footsteps, electronic voice phenomena, and electrical anomalies have occured as well.
