Stones River National Battlefield

From late December 1862 to January 2, 1863, The Civil War Battle of Stones River was fought. The battlefield includes the Stones River National Cemetery and Stop No. 4, the "Slaughter Pen," where Union General Phil Sheridan tried his hardest to hold back the Confederates in a forest. The battle ended with a high death toll on both sides. Today, the grounds are haunted by a soldier's ghost who pops up around re-enactors' campfires, leaning against a tree or standing in the shadows. One report states that a re-enactor was going for some water in the middle of the night when he witnessed who he thought was an intruder in the bushes. When he called for the man to come out from behind the bushes, it was a soldier in full uniform, his hand raised in surrender. The re-enactor thought it was another re-enactor joking around, so he raised his rifle to the man, who then fell down and vanished into thin air.

My 10-year old son and I went on a trail walk last year, down near the trenches that were dug by soldiers during the battle.
We are both into paranormal research and we’re playing around with an emf detector. We weren’t getting anything but baseline readings for about an hour. We were stopped at a corner in the trail for several seconds, when the end detector suddenly tripled it’s reading! This was while standing still, with no electrical wires or anything else around. The EMF spike stayed high for about 2 minutes, and the suddenly dropped back to a baseline reading.
We continued on our hike, but made sure to come back to the same turn in the trail at least three additional times to see if we got another spike.... we never got more than the baseline reading.
This was our first and only “evidence’ ever captured. Very exciting!

We have investigated The Battlefield well over a 100 times and have caught great evidence. Including shadow people, soldiers walking across the field, Cannon fire and Muskett fire. Apparations and balls of light. And some incredible evp's.
